Hi, I'm Matt
Despite being ex Police - we are 100% Force-Free Dog Trainers — and proud of it. We stay up to date with the latest science-backed training methods, so we know with absolute certainty: dogs can be trained effectively, successfully, and happily without punishment. So why choose anything else?

Our approach is all about mentoring you on a personal journey to strengthen the bond between you and your dog. We tailor our services to your unique needs, with total understanding and zero judgment.

Over the years, we’ve invested in learning from a variety of respected dog training organisations — and from that wealth of knowledge and experience, we’ve created our own blueprint. A method grounded in ethics, empathy, and what truly works for real dogs and real people.

We are working towards the ONLY World recognised OFQUAL Level 6 Clinical Behaviour Qualification run by a team of vets.
This means we can take on the more complex behaviour cases where other more general trainers have felt stumped.
We work on the basis a happy dog = a "well behaved" dog.

The behaviours that may be causing you stress, shame, embarrassment or even fear - are all just a demonstration of you or dog's emotional state. We work with the underlying emotion - to see the outward change leading to a happy, healthy, content dog.

We use a blue print that encourages your dog to feel confident, calm and have agency.
Not force.
While aversive methods may look like they work in the short term - the anxiety causes the behaviour doesn't just disappear. You will find it crops up elsewhere or intensifies if using force to control your dog's behaviour.

We treat you and your dog with deep respect.

Hi, I'm Tanya
Like Matt, I am also Ex-Police
I am the behaviourist of the duo so I design your bespoke behavioural plan.
I have also created an online Portal with our sister company "The Dog Bond Academy"
I have worked WORLDWIDE mentoring owners with their dog's behaviour concerns.
With a 100% success rate.
At Paw Patrol you get a 2-4-1 in Matt's skills based training and my behavioural input and bespoke plan.
I have undertaken additional training in behaviour language to accomodate all learning styles and neurotypes.
We pride ourselves on offering a compassionate non judgemental approach as we have seen so many clients who felt judged by previous trainers. We would never do this.
Living with a dog that has unwanted behaviours is stressful.
It shouldn't be underestimated.
Living with a dog that is not how you pictured your life to be is a form of grief. The relaxing walks? It didn't happen. Being pulled around or feeling embarrassed by lunging, barking, growling.
We understand.
We see it all the time.
It isn't your fault.
Let's get started with a supportive plan and pave the way to a happier future.
It is never too early. No unwanted behaviour is too small, but equally no dog is too old.
